Porcelana by Domori  (DLANA1)

 

Every year since 1997 Domori purchased some of the available heirloom criollo Porcelana harvest in the Andean region of Venezuela, and in 1998, grafted several sub-clones on the Hacienda San Jos. Porcelana is delectably smooth and rich, with notes of bread, butter, and jam, and a beautiful finish. 70% cacao.

The Criollo Line chocolate bars are all made with different varieties of cacao grown in Venezuela. The use of criollo and trinitario cacaos ensures balanced chocolate, with each bar having its own exceptional flavour - a testament to the influence of the role that genetics play in the flavour of chocolate. All bars are made without added cocoa butter or lecithin, to allow the full flavour of the cacao to present itself. The smoothness of these chocolate bars is exceptional - miraculous even considering the absence of cocoa butter!
